6mm stainless steel is used for the bail resulting in a very high breaking strength. All the other parts that have to resist high strains are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy. The bindings’ banked contact surface allows the board to flex freely and minimizes the danger of buckling or breakage of the board. Tiresome vibrations that occur on icy slopes are seriously reduced.
